Tessa — Piano, Guitar, Songwriting Composition Teacher
Tessa is a piano and guitar teacher, songwriter, and performing artist with a strong classical foundation and extensive real-world music experience. She began studying classical piano at age 9 and achieved outstanding marks in two Trinity College music exams, developing the technique and musical depth that continue to inform her teaching.
Over time, she expanded into guitar and songwriting, drawing on her piano background to develop a deeper command of harmony, musical structure, and fretboard understanding. Her cross-instrument perspective allows her to teach with both technical clarity and musical intuition, supporting students across different learning styles and goals.
Tessa wrote her first song at 12 years old and has since built a substantial body of original work, with 280+ songs registered with APRA AMCOS. As an active singing guitarist, she regularly performs and live streams, bringing current, practical performance experience into her lessons.
