June — Guitar, Music Theory, Composition & Songwriting Teacher

June is a guitar teacher with 7 years of teaching experience, bringing an individualised, person centred approach to every student. Music is another language we learn to speak, and lessons should feel fun more than anything else.

June studied music in the UK, completing an extended UAL Level 3 Diploma in Music Performance and Production while taking part in a composition project with The University of Edinburgh from 2017 to 2021. They have worked as a session musician for other artists and recordings, including jazz gigs and school musical productions. June’s own background is in pop and rock, broadened over the years to musical theatre, jazz and contemporary music.

Lessons blend plenty of music theory with what each student wants to learn, so students build real understanding while playing the music they love. June teaches acoustic, electric and bass guitar, alongside music theory, composition, songwriting and music production in Logic Pro, so students can grow from learning songs to writing and recording their own.
