Josh — Piano, Music Production, Composition, & Theory Teacher

Josh Clift is a pianist, composer, and educator with over three years of teaching experience. He completed his AMEB AMusA diploma at 16 and is a graduate of the Sydney Conservatorium of Music, where he earned a degree in Composition.

As a performer, Josh has appeared in leading venues across Sydney and Canberra, including Llewellyn Hall, the High Court of Australia, Salvation Army Congress Hall, and the UNSW Science Theatre.

Josh teaches students of all ages and levels, from beginners to advanced musicians, with an emphasis on technical development, musical understanding, and artistic expression. He also offers specialist tuition in Music Composition (including HSC Music), Music Theory, and Music Production.

Josh is both an amazing pianist and a wonderful piano teacher. My daughter was not enjoying piano lessons or practicing before she started lessons with Josh. His lessons were both enjoyable and challenging enough for her to want to practice to improve. He was very flexible and personalised the lessons based on both her skills and what type of music she chose to learn. Within one year her piano skills and confidence improved significantly.
