
Caleb — Saxophone, Oboe, Clarinet, Piano & Composition & Music Theory Teacher
Caleb is a saxophone, oboe, clarinet, piano, composition, and music theory teacher based in North Strathfield, Strathfield, and Burwood. Alongside his strong musical background, he holds a Master of Teaching in Mathematics and brings a long-standing passion for both music and education.
Caleb began learning piano at the age of four before moving into reed instruments, later focusing on alto saxophone and oboe. During high school, he performed in a range of ensembles including orchestra, symphonic wind ensemble, and stage band, and received several prizes in music competitions. By the age of 22, he had achieved LTCL diplomas in both Saxophone and Oboe with Credit, along with Grade 7 AMEB Musicianship.
With over ten years of private tutoring experience, Caleb has taught children and high school students across a range of levels and abilities. His lessons are designed to be engaging, enjoyable, and tailored to each student’s goals and interests. He focuses on building strong musical fundamentals and effective practice habits, helping students prepare for music exams, school performances, or simply playing for enjoyment.
Caleb is passionate about helping students grow in both confidence and ability, and aims to make lessons supportive, productive, and rewarding. He offers flexible scheduling and is able to travel to students’ homes for lessons.
