Andrew — Piano, Guitar, Singing, Composition & Theory Teacher
Andrew is a specialist music teacher at St Charles’ Waverley and Double Bay Public School. He has 15+ years of teaching experience, plus 15 years’ industry experience as a session vocalist / pianist / guitarist for various local/international acts and as an electronicore artist. During this time, he completed his Bachelor of Music / Education (UNSW) and the ABRSM.
He’s currently releasing music under his label Ghost Killer Entertainment, with production by Simon Cohen (producer for Justin Bieber’s “Love Yourself”), and has an upcoming debut EP alongside a national tour.
Andrew teaches any genre — Pop, Rock, Blues, Jazz, Classical, Alternative, Metal, Country — including improvisation, and AMEB / ABRSM / Trinity exam preparation from Preliminary to Grade 8. He incorporates technology into lessons and regularly hosts recitals so students get real performance experience. He can also teach using non-traditional methods, including playing by ear and non-standard notation.
Andrew believes learning music should be enjoyable for everyone, which is why his lessons are fun, interactive, and tailored to each student. His goal is to inspire students to build their own musical journey while developing genuine skill and confidence.
