Andrea — Piano, Composition & Theory Teacher

Andrea is an Italian pianist, composer, and music educator with extensive experience teaching students of different ages and abilities, from young beginners to advanced adult learners. He graduated in Piano from the Conservatorio di Musica “Nicola Sala” in Benevento, Italy, and has worked as both a piano teacher and music educator in Italy, combining private tuition with music teaching in secondary education.

Andrea has been teaching piano privately since 2018, working with students ranging from young children to adults, and has experience preparing students for AMEB examinations at different levels. His teaching covers piano technique, music theory, harmony, interpretation, sight-reading, and musical creativity, with every lesson adapted to each student’s age, goals, and individual way of learning.

Andrea’s teaching approach combines strong technical foundations with musical expression and creativity, an outlook shaped by his own active work as a pianist and composer across classical, contemporary, minimalist, and electronic music. This broad musical background allows him to bring composition, improvisation, and creative explorationnaturally into his lessons. Ultimately, he aims to create a positive and motivating learning environment in which students not only develop solid piano skills, but also come to understand the music they play, gradually building confidence, independence, and their own musical identity.
