Vahid — Guitar, Piano and Music Composition Teacher

Vahid is a Sydney-based music teacher, performer, composer, and music producer with over 20 years of teaching experience. Since beginning his teaching career in 2001, he has worked with hundreds of students of all ages and skill levels, from complete beginners to advanced musicians, helping them build confidence, develop strong technique, and rediscover the joy of making music. His six years teaching at a music conservatory, alongside extensive private and group teaching, have given him a deep understanding of how to tailor each lesson to a student’s goals, learning style, and musical interests.

Vahid teaches an unusually broad range of instruments and disciplines, including Acoustic, Electric, and Classical Guitar, Bass Guitar, Handpan, Percussion, and Beginner Piano, as well as Music Theory, Composition, and Songwriting. He also brings specialist knowledge in Ableton Live, Logic Pro, Recording Techniques, and Music Production, making him a natural fit for students who want to write, record, and produce their own music alongside developing their playing.

As an active performer, composer, and producer, Vahid draws on genuine industry experience in every lesson. He has released original music, composed for film and theatre productions, and performed live across a wide range of venues, continuing to write, record, and produce music today. His teaching style is patient, practical, and encouraging, combining solid technical foundations with creativity to help students become confident, well-rounded musicians in a supportive and motivating environment.
