
Nate — Drums & Music Theory Teacher
Nate is an exciting and versatile drummer who has quickly begun establishing himself on the Sydney music scene. Comfortable across jazz, funk, blues, rock, and pop, he brings a broad musical perspective to his teaching and performance work.
He is currently studying a Bachelor of Drumset Performance at the Sydney Conservatorium of Music, where he is refining his playing under the guidance of leading musicians including Simon Barker, Alexander Inman-Hislop, Cameron Undy, and Chloe Kim.
As a performer, Nate has shared the stage with respected jazz and blues artists such as Clayton Doley, James Ryan, Pat Powell, Dan Barnett, Trish Delaney Brown, Jo Fabro, and Eamon Dilworth, as well as rock acts including Whitts End, So Fresh Party, and the Ginky Gonksters.
Nate’s teaching is shaped by his wide stylistic experience and ongoing professional training. He is well suited to students who want to build strong fundamentals, improve their versatility, and develop confidence across different styles of music. Whether a student is just starting out or looking to grow as a drummer, Nate aims to make lessons engaging, practical, and musically rewarding.
