Matthew — Saxophone, Clarinet, Flute, Trumpet, & Trombone Teacher

Matthew is currently studying a Bachelor of Performance (Classical Saxophone) at the Sydney Conservatorium of Music. Alongside saxophone, he also teaches clarinet and flute, and has several years of experience teaching both private and group lessons across a range of primary and high schools.

Matthew aims to make lessons fun, encouraging and tailored to each student, while still building strong foundations and steady progress over time. He understands that every student learns differently, so he adapts his teaching to suit each person’s age, goals and learning style — whether they are just starting out or looking to build confidence and improve their skills.

In lessons, Matthew not only helps students develop on their instrument, but also shares broader musical knowledge that supports their overall growth as a player. His goal is to create a positive learning environment where students feel comfortable, motivated and excited to keep improving.
