Kieren is a guitarist, songwriter, and producer based in Sydney’s north, bringing over 12 years of experience teaching guitar and bass to students of all levels. He completed his studies in Jazz Performance at the Sydney Conservatorium in 2018, giving his teaching a strong technical and theoretical foundation.

Alongside teaching, Kieren remains an active performer and producer, currently playing in the pop disco group Cosmic Spice, where he holds production, song, and lyric writing credits. In 2019 he toured nationally with English band Ward Thomas, supporting singer-songwriter David Gray across iconic venues including the Enmore Theatre and Bluesfest. This real world performance and production background feeds directly into his lessons.

Kieren’s teaching style is flexible and student led, focused on building realistic, repeatable practice systems that help students reach their goals while staying connected to their own musical voice. He works with students of all ages and backgrounds, including strong experience supporting students through HSC Music, and is proudly LGBTQIA+ friendly and neurodiverse welcoming.
