Gia — Singing Teacher

Gia specialises in Rock, Jazz/Blues and Musical Theatre, with a focus on vocal technique and range. Her teaching centres on expanding students’ vocal range and agility through what she calls the ‘Halo’ technique, helping singers build both skill and confidence. Gia is passionate about working with students who share her love of music, and aims to help each one grow in confidence and self-esteem through their singing. She has taught alongside Brent Street and AIPA Performing Arts, working with groups of all ages.

Gia has performed extensively throughout her career, including playing Cassie in Bankstown Theatre Company’s production of 13: The Musical, a demanding role that tested her stamina and stage presence. Other credits include the Sour Kangaroo in North Sydney Musical Theatre Company’s Seussical, Elphaba in Wicked with Jump Performing Arts, and a role in Annie with LA Talent. She has trained in musical theatre dance with the Sydney Dance Company and received an acting scholarship from Actors Pulse. Gia encourages all her students to perform for fun, believing it builds confidence and stage presence far beyond the practice room.

Gia’s foundations in music run deep. She achieved Distinguished Achiever and a Music 1 Honour Roll place in her 2021 HSC, and earned a Trinity College London Grade 7 Classical Certificate with Merit while in high school. She now works as a professional entertainer for weddings, 21st birthdays and anniversaries, bringing the same passion and polish to every performance and every lesson.
