Fiona — Piano & Theory Teacher

Fiona is a passionate pianist, piano educator, and Registered Music Therapist (AMTA) with over 15 years of teaching experience. She began her musical journey at age four and has since achieved ATCL in Piano (Trinity College London), along with Grade 8 Vocal and Grade 8 Music Theory (ABRSM).

Fiona’s students consistently achieve outstanding results in ABRSM and AMEB exams, as well as piano competitions, and she is highly regarded by both students and parents for her supportive, inspiring teaching style.

Fiona holds a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in Music from Hong Kong Baptist University and a Master of Creative Music Therapy from Western Sydney University. She has studied under distinguished musicians including Dr Amy Sze, Dr Karl Lo, and Ms Zhao Ling, whose mentorship helped shape her advanced pianistic skills and enriched her teaching philosophy.

Fiona believes everyone has an innate connection to music. Her lessons are patient, personalised, and engaging, combining strong technical foundations with creativity and holistic learning. Drawing on her music therapy expertise and experience across disability, aged care, and dementia settings, Fiona creates a nurturing environment where students build confidence, express themselves freely, and develop a lifelong love of music.
