Clovis — Clarinet, Music Production & Music Theory Teacher

Clovis is an experienced clarinet teacher and Ableton / electronic music production tutor with over 15 years of teaching experience across both fields.

Alongside teaching, Clovis has been deeply involved in the wider music and events industry as Director of Kalyx Culture, where he has curated and delivered a range of music events. This broader industry experience gives students insight not just into technique and theory, but into real-world music-making, performance, composition, and creative practice.

He holds a Bachelor of Music (Performance and Composition), a Bachelor of Psychology, and AMEB Grade 8 Clarinet. With a strong background in both music and human learning, he takes a thoughtful, structured approach to teaching and guides each student through a clear and engaging learning journey.

He is also passionate about composing original music and sharing his knowledge with others in a way that is encouraging, practical, and inspiring.
