Brett — Double Bass, Guitar, Ableton Live, Drums, Piano, Logic Pro, Composition & Music Theory Teacher

Brett is a seasoned bass professional and multi-instrumentalist with over two decades of experience. He first honed his skills at Newcastle’s Hunter School of the Performing Arts, performing in stage bands and orchestras, before becoming a working musician from the age of 17.

Regarded as a virtuoso among peers, Brett has performed across an extensive range of formats, from full symphony orchestras and big bands to contemporary bands, songwriters, world and folk groups, and experimental/avant-garde ensembles, as well as solo performance. He has also toured extensively across Australia as both an original artist and freelance bassist.

Brett has been teaching professionally since 2008, offering lessons in Electric Bass, Double Bass, Guitar, Piano, Drums, and Ukulele. He also specialises in ensemble and band coaching, as well as HSC Music and tertiary preparation.
