Ashlee — Singing Teacher

Ashlee is an Australian soprano and vocal coach with a Master of Music Studies (Opera Performance) from the Sydney Conservatorium of Music and a Bachelor of Music with Distinction from the Newcastle Conservatorium. She has performed leading roles in operas including La bohème, La Traviata, Pagliacci, Die Walküre and Die Zauberflöte, and made her Carnegie Hall debut in New York with Manhattan Opera Studio. Alongside her classical career, she’s a regular cabaret performer and has trained in screen acting in Melbourne.

Ashlee teaches singers of all ages and experience levels, from beginners through to advanced students preparing for AMEB exams, auditions and performances. She works across classical voice, musical theatre and contemporary crossover styles, and tailors her teaching to each student’s goals, voice type and stage of development. Her screen acting background informs how she teaches stage presence, storytelling and emotional connection to the music alongside technique.

Her teaching focuses on healthy, sustainable vocal technique and building confidence in students’ own voices. Ashlee creates a calm, encouraging environment where students feel supported to explore, make mistakes and grow, with an emphasis on long-term vocal health and versatility across styles.
