Aleksa — Trumpet, Piano & Music Theory Teacher

Aleksa is a trumpet and piano teacher with 5 years of teaching experience, offering lessons for beginner to intermediate students both online and face to face. A graduate of Newtown High School of the Performing Arts, she is currently studying Fine Arts (Music) and Commerce at UNSW and brings both strong formal training and real performance experience to her teaching.

Having played trumpet and piano for 13 years, Aleksa teaches students across a wide range of styles, including classical, jazz, Eastern European folk, and contemporary music. Her lessons are tailored to each student’s level, goals, and musical interests, with a focus on building strong fundamentals while keeping lessons engaging and inspiring.

Lessons may include work through method books, grade exam preparation, and support for auditions, as well as more casual learning for students playing for enjoyment. Aleksa also enjoys introducing students to new genres and styles, helping them grow both technically and musically over time.
