
Adele — Violin, Viola & Music Theory Teacher
Adele is a Sydney-based violinist, educator, and chamber music specialist with extensive experience leading string programs across Australia’s leading schools and institutions. She has held senior roles including Acting Director of Strings at Barker College and Head of Strings at Newington College, where she directed large-scale orchestral and chamber music programs while overseeing curriculum development from beginner to pre-professional levels.
Alongside her educational work, Adele maintains an active performing career, appearing with ensembles such as the Australian Opera and Ballet Orchestra, Australian Haydn Ensemble, Omega Ensemble, and various orchestras in Australia and overseas. She holds degrees from the Eastman School of Music, Northwestern University, and the Australian National Academy of Music.
Adele works with motivated students aiming to develop strong technique, musical understanding, AMEB preparation, audition readiness, and ensemble performance skills. Her teaching is known for balancing high standards with a supportive and encouraging approach, helping students build confidence, independence, and genuine musical artistry.
