Daniel — Saxophone Teacher

With over twelve years of dedicated saxophone experience, Daniel brings a wealth of expertise and formal training to his students. He holds a CMus with High Distinction from the AMEB and a Licentiate Diploma (LMus) from Trinity College London. His extensive background includes performing as a featured soloist and playing as a proud member of the Sydney Youth Orchestra.

As an instructor, Daniel firmly believes that the most significant progress occurs when students genuinely enjoy the learning process. While he ensures that all essential fundamentals are covered properly such as tone, technique, and music theory, he always makes room for the music his students actually want to play. By blending structured learning with personal musical interests, he ensures that practice feels highly rewarding rather than repetitive.

Drawing heavily on his own diverse performance background, Daniel shows his students that hard work and enjoyment go naturally together. Whether a learner is preparing for rigorous AMEB or Trinity exams, aiming to join a school ensemble, or simply exploring the saxophone for personal fulfillment, he expertly tailors his guidance to meet their specific aspirations.
