Grace is currently in her fourth year of a Bachelor of Music (Performance) at the Sydney Conservatorium of Music, studying Orchestral Percussion with Kevin Man. At the Conservatorium, she has served as principal percussionist for the Symphony Orchestra, Wind Symphony Orchestra, and New Music Ensembles, and was selected for an international tour to Japan and Korea in 2024, a reflection of her standing among her peers as a dedicated and accomplished performer.
Beyond the Conservatorium, Grace has performed with an impressive range of ensembles, including the Sydney Symphony Orchestra, Australian Youth Orchestra, Ensemble Apex, Orchestra Project, and Willoughby Symphony Orchestra, and served as principal percussionist of the Sydney Youth Orchestra in 2024. This extensive performance background gives her a rich, real world understanding of musicianship that she brings directly into her teaching.
Alongside performing, Grace is deeply committed to music education, with experience teaching percussion, piano, and music theory to students of a range of ages and abilities. She tailors each lesson to the individual, balancing strong technical foundations with an engaging and supportive approach. Grace’s goal is to create a positive learning environment where students feel encouraged to make progress, enjoy making music, and develop a lifelong appreciation for it.
