Alice — Percussion & Piano Teacher

Alice is currently completing a Master of Music (Orchestral Performance) at the Melbourne Conservatorium of Music under the tutelage of Shaun Trubiano, Principal Percussion of the Melbourne Symphony Orchestra. She specialises in marimba and snare drum performance, and has performed with both the Sydney Symphony Orchestra and Opera Australia Orchestra. Alice was also selected for the Australian Youth Orchestra International Tour in 2025, performing in internationally renowned venues including the Concertgebouw and Vienna’s Musikverein.

In 2023, Alice was appointed Principal Percussion for the Sydney Youth Orchestra, including performing Stravinsky’s Rite of Spring as Principal Timpanist at the Sydney Opera House. Alongside percussion, she is also an accomplished pianist and has attained AMEB Grade 8 Piano.

With over 8 years of teaching experience, Alice has taught students ranging from young beginners through to adults. Her lessons are supportive, structured, and tailored to each student’s goals, whether they are developing technique on marimba and snare drum, preparing for exams or auditions, or starting music for the first time. Alice also teaches beginner piano and currently offers online-only lessons for students across Sydney.
