Christian — Violin & Music Theory Teacher

Christian is an AMEB Associate of Music and a Software Engineering student with a long-standing passion for the violin and classical music. Having played violin from a young age, he brings over 15 years of experience performing in orchestras and string ensembles, along with the past 3 years of teaching since graduating from school.

Christian believes lessons should be both engaging and tailored to the individual student. He places strong importance on choosing repertoire that students genuinely enjoy, knowing that familiar and meaningful music helps create more motivated practice, greater enthusiasm, and stronger long-term progress.

His teaching is technique-focused, helping students build a solid foundation and develop a clear, confident sound. He places particular emphasis on avoiding scratchy tone and weak intonation, while guiding students towards stronger violin control and musicality.

Christian teaches students of all ages and levels and prefers to teach in person, with house calls being his preferred format. With his combination of strong technical focus, practical teaching experience, and genuine love for music, he aims to make lessons both enjoyable and productive for every student.
