Edward — Clarinet, Saxophone & Music Theory Teacher
Edward is a clarinet, saxophone, and music theory teacher with six years of experience and holds a Performance Diploma in Clarinet from Trinity College London. He is passionate about helping students of all ages discover the enjoyment, confidence, and fulfilment that can come from learning music.
Edward works with students from beginner to intermediate level, while also welcoming learners of all ages and backgrounds. He believes learning the clarinet is a great way to build not only musical skill, but also focus, creativity, coordination, confidence, listening, memory, and problem-solving ability — benefits that often carry through into school, work, and everyday life.
Alongside his clarinet teaching, Edward is also a trained singer and has previously performed with Opera Australia, bringing a broad and well-rounded musical background to his lessons.
Based in Sydney’s Hills District, Edward primarily teaches in person and usually travels to students’ homes, making lessons convenient and accessible for families. With his supportive approach and strong musical foundation, he aims to make lessons both enjoyable and productive for every student.
Edward is currently welcoming new students and would love to help you or your child begin, or continue, their musical journey.
